BGMI player Aditya Mathe, popularly known as Aditya Jod, has left the esports organisation GodLike Esports and joined 8Bit. This move came a few weeks before the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 tournament.
Mathe has formerly played for OR Esports and Lightz Out Esports. His stint with the GodLike commenced in November 2023 after he departed from TeamXSpark. As per reports, Mathe was not a regular member of the playing four in many tournaments with GodLike. He played under the captaincy of Jelly, with whom he had also played in OR Esports.
The Grind stage of the BGIS will commence on 4 April 2024. The team will be directly invited to this stage. The major BGMI tournament has a prize pool of Rs 2 crore. The Grind will be held from 4 to 28 April and will see as many as 256 invited teams divided into 16 groups.
