India’s Lakshya Digital played a significant role in developing 2024’s four games from major gaming studios Square Enix, Pocket Pair, FromSoftware and Cygames.

The studio crafted 3D assets for numerous monsters (Pals) and equipment items for Pocket Pair’s Palworld, and created characters with distinctive personalities in Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The company added depth and realism to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth by creating various characters and animals, detailed hair designs and various environmental elements for the iconic remake for the Square Enix’s PS1 game.

Lakshya continued its collaboration with FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, released in 2022. The studio also contributed to the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Over six to seven months, Lakshya developed a wide range of assets, including detailed environmental assets, textures, crafted props, architecture and statues.

The company’s founder and CEO Manvendra Shukul said, “We are thrilled to have been a part of creating some critically acclaimed games, especially as we reflect on Lakshya Digital’s journey over the past two decades. Our team’s hard work and commitment have helped us develop engaging gaming experiences for players around the world.”

Lakshya Digital’s portfolio includes over 150 AAA game titles like Alan Wake 2, Starfield, Street Fighter 6, Sniper Elite 5, Destiny 2, Halo Infinite, Baldur’s Gate 3 amongst others. Founded in 2004, the company has studios across the Indian cities Pune, Gurgram, Bengaluru and internationally in Philippines’ capital Manila.
