Nefta, the Web3 technology platform, is expanding its existing partnership with blockchain gaming studio Viker, to introduce simplified solutions for onboarding and working with gaming guilds and other Web3 communities.
Nefta’s technology will enable Viker to onboard gaming guilds, contributing to the growth of its players base and enabling gaming guilds to have a dedicated platform for renting, leasing, commission management and cashouts. Gaming guilds rent or lease NFTs to players, giving them the ability to earn money and win prizes whilst playing Viker’s games. Each guild will be given between 1000 and 2000 NFTs to distribute to their players.
Nefta CEO and cofounder Geeshan Willink said, “By extending the interoperability of Nefta-powered NFTs across Viker’s portfolio, we’re bringing deeper blockchain integration to more of its titles and providing a much more accessible blockchain experience.”
Nefta’s suite of Web3 tools has already been implemented across several of Viker’s biggest games, including Bitcoin Chess, Balls King, Solitaire and Bitcoin Scratch, giving players easier access to blockchain gaming. Nefta will provide the technology to manage marketplaces and mint NFTs for players to purchase, delivering improved accessibility and democratisation. Each NFT will be usable and integrated meaningfully across all games, with additional benefits such as unlocking multipliers and rewards when connected to player wallets.
Viker cofounder Ben Cusak said, “Our partnership with Nefta has gone from strength to strength, and we’re delighted to implement more of their technology into our games, delivering more accessible blockchain experiences for our players. With the addition of Nefta’s full rental management system, we’re onboarding and incentivising even more players.”
Nefta technology was recently used as part of Viker’s partnership with Forj, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, to launch a unique PolkaPets World NFT, called Viker PolkaPet Pass (VPPP). The VPPP NFT enables the holder to earn double Bitcoin rewards across Viker’s portfolio, including Solitaire, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Balls King and more.
