Season one GEPL finale

JetSynthesys has officially opened registrations for the second season of the Global e-Cricket Premier League, a premier Indian esports tournament.

The registration window is open until 7 August 2024. This season, each team will consist of eight members, an increase from six in the previous season. Additionally, teams will also be selected through a new formatt, adding a fresh dynamic to the competition.

JetSynthesys CEO Rajan Navani expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, saying, “We are excited to kick off the registration process for GEPL Season 2. The overwhelming response to our first season has set high expectations, and we are committed to delivering an even more exhilarating experience this year. With an expanded team format and the introduction of a new team selection mechanism, we are confident that GEPL will continue to set new benchmarks in the esports and gaming industry.”

GEPL CEO Rohit Potphode said, “The introduction of a new franchise base format is part of our ongoing effort to elevate the excitement and competitiveness of the league. We are looking forward to another outstanding season filled with remarkable moments and thrilling matches.”

According to the official press release, the first season of GEPL attracted over two lakh registrations. The selected players were trained by experts, and the top 48 were divided into teams via a randomised sequential draft.
