“We have been working on the formation of the Goa AVGC-XR Association for the last three years. We had several meetings in Goa, Mumbai, and Pune as well. We jointly met the IT department of Goa in  November 2023, where we fired up the Association plan. We will now work together with the Goa government to revive the Goa AVGC-XR Policy,” shared FICCI AVGC-XR Forum chairman and Punnaryug Artvision founder Ashish Kulkarni with AnimationXpress.

With Kulkarni on board as the mentor, the newly formed body has appointed Tapan Acharya as president, Kishore Sahit as the vice-president, Rohit Khandekar as secretary, Vinay Bhat as the joint secretary, and Jeetendra Shikerkar as the treasurer. The executive committee also includes six members: Yugank Naik, Pradyumn Naik, Paresh Naik, Vinit Kundaikar, Makarand Tilve, and Megharaj Akarkar, along with representatives from the Goa IT Corporation, Govt of Goa.
